Nvidia(輝達)最新上市的 GeFore RTX 3080 顯示卡似乎存在一些問題,據外媒《富比士》報導,越來越多消費者在購入 RTX 3080 後,發現該顯示卡會時常導致遊戲軟體崩潰與圖形破裂等問題。

外媒《VideoCardz》亦指出,災情多出現在第三方廠商的自製卡上,如 ZOTAC、微星(MSI)與技嘉(gigabyte筆電收購gigabyte)等廠商推出的 RTX 3080 都有傳出問題,外媒認為這可能與第三方的 RTX 3080 多有替核心進行超頻所致。
據了解,許多第三方廠商推出的 RTX 3080 在核心頻率到達 2.0 GHz 或更高的時脈時,就會直接導致系統崩潰,知名外國團隊《Igor’s LAB》在進行研究後,原因可能出自於 PCI 面板上的一個有瑕疵的電容。
由先前 RTX 3080 的拆解報告指出,RTX 3080 在背面都具備六個電容,該電容用於過濾、穩定流通的電壓,而在部分用料較差的 RTX 3080 顯卡型號,被發現使用了廉價的 POPSCAP電容,而非用料、價格較高的 MLCC 電容。

每一張出問題的 RTX 3080 顯卡都被發現使用了高比例的 POSCAP 電容,而由 Nvidia 自己推出的公版卡則未出現這些問題。此外,華碩(ASUS)推出的 TUF RTX 3080 型號也未被發現使用 POPSCAP 電容。
雖然目前各廠商尚未正式承認 POPSCAP 電容就是導致 RTX 3080 瑕疵的禍首,知名 YouTuber《JayzTwoCents》則表示,因為連假電容無法供給 RTX 3080 顯示卡穩定的電壓,導致顯示卡在高時脈或是超頻的狀況下變得更加不穩,進而導致系統崩潰。
第三方顯卡廠商《EVGA》也於第一時間發表公開聲明,表示將在未來生產的 EVGA RTX 3080 顯示卡上大量使用 MLCC 電容,並將 POSCAP 電容減少至 4 個,這也是為何 EVGA FTW3 版本的 RTX 3080 顯示卡遲遲尚未上市的原因。
